I wanted to thank everyone who attended the 2018 Canadian Police Curling Championships and made it a very special championship.  With the incredible generosity of title sponsor WFG, I think we can all be proud of our $23 000+ donation to Tourette Canada and I would also like to congratulate Team Ontario who earned the title of Team Canada for the 2019 championships in St. John’s.  Lastly, I would like to thank all volunteers and Committee members, for without them this event couldn’t have taken place.

Thank you again and I wish Jim, Roger and the Newfoundland committee the best of luck in 2019.

Notable game on sheet 3 of draw 3, A team with Brothers "The Brennan's" on Team BC are playing Team AB with Kevin Folk and Andrea Hack (Folk). It's believed we've never had a Brother/ Sister Team at a National Championship. We've had over the years Father/ Daughter, Father/ Son and Husband and Wife combinations.

I am pleased to be host Chair for the 2018 Canadian Police Curling Championship.  The aim of the Host Committee is to ensure all participants and guests have a great and memorable experience.  It is important for us to carry on the tradition of camaraderie and competition involved with the Championship, but we want to ensure we honor you, the participants and family members, for your service in our very noble profession.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our title sponsor, World Financial Group, and all the others, of which there are many: without their support we wouldn't be able to put on these Championships and make a contribution to Tourette Canada. If you would like to learn more of sponsoring the event check out the opportunities here. I would be remiss if I didn't recognize those who have volunteered their time setting up and working the event. Again, without these people we wouldn't be able to enjoy this event.

The committee looks forward to hosting you and we are currently making arrangements for nice weather.
