Clarence Fidler - Nova Scotia

  • Clarence Fidler is from Swan River, Manitoba.
  • Clarence began Police Curling in 1976 when stationed in Bridgetown, N.S.
  • Clarence has won 9 Provincial Titles.
  • In 1982, his team won the Nova Scotia Legion Championship.
  • In 1984, his team won the Canadian Police Championship in Winnipeg, Mb. Clarence winning all star third that year.
  • In tankard play, his teams have made the final 8 on three occasions.
  • In 1990, Clarence was elected President of the Nova Scotia Police Curling Association.
  • Clarence has been a Zone Coordinator for seven years, Provincial Coordinator in 1991/92.
  • Clarence is a level two Coach and coached from 1993 - 1998. In 1997 and 1998 his Junior Boys team including his son Hugh won the Nova Scotia Junior curling titles.
  • In 1998, Clarence retired from the RCMP and remains active with the NSPCA to this date.
