All regions have now declared their Champions. Check out the Teams pages to see who is coming to Toronto, we have many returning teams with some new first timers. Good luck to all. Our events pages will be updated as we confirm the dates and times.

We are pleased as the host committee to be chosen to host the 65th Canadian Police Curling Championships and have our Provincial Champions come to Toronto for the first time. It takes a tremendous amount of work organizing a National Championship and events surrounding it. We are striving to make your stay in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) an enjoyable and memorable one.

Our event will run from April 17-25/2020 and we have secured as host a wonderful curling facility in Toronto’s east end, the Tam Heather Curling and Tennis Club.

We would like to thank in advance our title sponsor World Financial Group for their continued support of police curling and the many sponsors who are putting their name to our event. This ensures a financial success for the Championship and in reaching our goals in support of ‘charity of choice’ Tourette Canada.

Practice hard and win your province. Bring your family and friends to Toronto 2020. We won‘t disappoint!

The Tam Heather Curling and Tennis Club opened its 8 sheet rink in 1973. It has an upper and lower deck viewing area for all the curling action. Up stairs has a licenced lounge and seating area to relive all those game action moments. The club is one of the areas best so we can expect another great Championship.

Congratulations to British Columbia`s Team Hockley who will return to defend their Championship.
Team Canada 2019
Bill Taylor - Dan Brennan - Randy Nelson - Glen Brennan - Dale "Big Blue"Hockley

A little background on Dale "Big Blue" Hockley; he's been waiting a long time for his Blue Bombers to finally bring home the prize. Well it finally happened in his life time. Dale on the other hand has brought home the Canadian Championship in 1985 in Whitby, and also in 1986 in Halifax.  It appears that he had hard time getting to the show in the 1990’s and 2000's, but may have been busy fine tuning his team.  In Truro in 2011, Dale and team rekindled that Championship form following up again with another National championship in Winnipeg in 2014, before bringing another one home in St. John's. Dale now has five Police Championships, only second to Garth Mitchell’s six (1984 in Winnipeg, 1999 in Regina, 2004 in Hamilton, 2006 in Calgary, 2007 in Moncton and 2017 in Fredericton). It's believed that Dale, who has now finally retired from the RCMP, can work on those inturns and outturns.  He's been known to play more than 120 games in a season and has had the privilege of representing BC at the Canadian Seniors Championship. Dale's been involved at all levels of Police Curling, hosting the Canadian Police Curling Championship and is now entering his sixth decade as an active police curler, organizer and promoter of our organization and sport. He's earned a few nick names over the years, Hawk, Big Blue, Dad and now "Gramps".  Good luck Team Canada and Hurry Hard Boys.

Check back often as we will be updating the site as events are finalized.
