We finally did
it!!
Congratulations to Team Hockley for becoming the 2011
Canadian Champions!
The
Championship was held in Truro, NS. Team BC
finished the round robin 7-2 (2nd place), losing to
Saskatchewan and Ontario. They moved directly to
the Finals after defeating Saskatchewan in the 1-2 Page
Playoff game. BC met Ontario in the Finals and the
rest is now history! BC had not won the gold since
2000 when Cal Fister represented our province. The
last time Dale Hockley brought the gold back to BC was
in 1986, so no need to say that this was a very special
moment for him!
