PLEASE NOTE:

The competitive side has traditionally been open to only "Police Officers". However a motion was passed last April at the National AGM to open the competitive side to "Peace Officers" as well. The criteria for eligibility under the "Peace Officer" designation is as follows:

  • Any person who is designated a Peace Officer or Auxiliary Officer with at least two years of service within any Provincial or Territorial Association in which they reside.  This may include but is not restricted to Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA), Customs Officers, Correctional Officers, and, Conservation and Fisheries Officers.  These are to be determined by the National Executive on a case by case submission.

  • Are members in good standing within the Provincial or Territorial Association in which they reside.

  • Retired Peace Officer or Auxiliary Officer with a minimum of 15 years service in the employ of their agency.
