Its never to early to get your 2013 team put together.
The competitive side has traditionally been open to only "Police
Officers". However a motion was passed April, 2010 at the
National AGM
opens the competitive side to all "Peace Officers". The criteria for
eligibility under the "Peace Officer" designation is as follows:
- Any person who is
designated a Peace Officer or Auxiliary Officer with at least two
years of service within any Provincial or Territorial Association in
which they reside. This may include but is not restricted to
Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA), Customs Officers,
Correctional Officers, and, Conservation and Fisheries Officers.
These are to be determined by the National Executive on a case by
case submission.
- Are members in good
standing within the Provincial or Territorial Association in which
they reside.
- Retired Peace Officer or
Auxiliary Officer with a minimum of 15 years service in the employ
of their agency.
- These persons must play on
a team with a minimum of two regular member Police Officers that are
in good standing with their Provincial or Territorial Association

Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada
The Nova Scotia Police Curling Association is a proud supporter of the
Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada, the only federally registered,
non-profit organization of volunteers assisting those with or affected
by tourette syndrome and its associated disorders. The Host Committee is
asking that each player bring an item to the event for a silent auction
to be held in support of this of tremendous group of volunteers. Your
generosity would be a very meaningful contribution in support of this
foundation.
